[Friday] List perfect moments
1. Anytime I’m first back at the house I grew up in. I see my mom. It feels like coming home in a good way. Then it starts to feel like coming home in a not so good way. But for those first few minutes, it’s near perfect.
2. Hanging out with my sisters on holidays playing board games or watching movies. They can make me feel like a kid again in half a second. It’s fun.
3. When I was hand picked to be in the BAU. I thought that was pretty hot. In the FBI you hear about them but don’t ever really get them ‘til you’re in there. As good as I thought I was, nothing could have prepared me for this unit. But I remember feeling really good about myself when they thought I was worth calling in.
4. Sometimes when I’m sitting talking to Garcia and it’s not about work stuff, then I feel pretty damn content.
Let’s face it, perfect moments are few and far between… at least for me. My mind is always working and it’s hard to switch it off. Even with the good moments there’s always something bubbling underneath.
