Locked to those who know of his immortality

If you were to die tomorrow, what unfinished business would keep you here? Who/what/where would you haunt?

I don't know that I can die; tomorrow or any time. I imagine I will haunt people without death. There are those in the scientific community and the collegiate community that want me to disappear or die. Among those individuals, my perpetual existence and study is the worst haunting this world could conjure.

My decision to alleviate the possible, eventual death, had nothing to do with my competitors or business. I have two reasons for my choice. Foremost, is my wife but my research factored into the equation. I study patterns. The chance (certainty?) to record long standing patterns that range outside the average human lifespan enticed me farther. I suspect I'll haunt the same places for a good portion of the existence I have. Habits are hard to break, especially when you have centuries to build them.
