Wednesday - A perpetually-carried object
Claire doesn't have one thing she carries with her, besides her driver's license and her purse. Sometimes her agenda makes it into her purse, sometimes a pencil or three, sometimes a bracelet or something.
She never even realizes, though, that something leftover from Metos Christian School embedded itself into the lining of her purse.
She received as some stupid chachka after chapel one day her sophomore year. She'd been too old for that sort of jewelery by then, and she thought her idiotic teachers should've known that. If she knew it was in her purse, she wouldn't even know how it got there.
