Ian Malcolm.
Ian really doesn't like his parents much. Of the two he likes his mother better but thinks she is weak willed which has always strained their relationship. Ian and his dad verge on hating each other. Ian's father didn't see science as a legitimate career. The man is always disappointed in Ian in all aspects from his career to the failure of his marriages. His father is always putting him down and telling him he needs to do better. Ian's father causes him a great deal of stress. As he's gotten older he has tried to patch up the relationship he has with his parents. Ian and his mother have started to get a long and a lot of the past has been forgiven. His father though has not been receptive to any sort of compromise or truce between the two. Ian's father is still harsh on him and expressing every possible flaw and disappointment that he can.
Ian does see Hammond as a father figure in some cases but more as a father that needs cared for than one that is a role model or anything like that. Ian is very close to John Hammond and his family. More so after the incidents of the Jurassic Park movie than before that. Hammond trusts Ian's opinion and that earns him some respect in Ian's eyes despite what Ian thinks of his business ventures.
