RP: Missed Sunday, but am searching for storylines.
This particular muse has been lying dormant for quite some time since the cessation of his first and only group roleplay to date. He's been somersaulting around my brain for quite some time now though, and I would love the opportunity to actively engage him in some storyline. If this happens to be in a group that accepts original characters, I'd be willing to take a peek, but I am mostly looking for someone who would be interested in doing some private back-and-forth between characters, preferably in journal format as opposed to some chat client.

Christian Scott was originally conceived for an original-character, modern-day roleplay which has since gone defunct. I haven't had the opportunity to play him in settings other than these, but I would happily open myself up to the possibility of changing his realm of existence. For how he exists currently, he is a 23 year old graduate student in psychology, with a strong focus in the field of social psychology. His intent is to one day open his own practice, through which he will counsel individuals with disabilities. Christian himself is blind, and has been fully without sight for the past four years. As a child he was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a progressive eye disease which systematically destroyed the rods and cones in his eyes. Before he lost his vision completely, he participated in his school's cross country and track and field teams. To this day he still loves running more than virtually anything else on earth. It's his solace, his natural high.
When he was seventeen years old, however, Christian was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street. The accident lead to some broken bones and internal bleeding, but the aftermath was the truly destructive part of the ordeal. The young man was left with heavy scarring along his left leg and chest (which caused considerable damage to his self confidence), and moderate lung scarring (which caused slight damage to his stamina during physical activity). Moreover, the incident taught Christian that no one but himself could be trusted, and as a result he has developed a slightly obsessive personality and a great hesitation towards the unknown. Medication and talk therapy have helped to alleviate some of these fears, but they still lurk under the surface, ready to engulf him at a moment's notice.
Not all is bad, however, though it might seem that way. Christian is a man of many talents, abilities, and even some charms. In addition to running, he absolutely loves music, and is quite accomplished at the guitar and piano, as well as vocals. He has sung in various coffee houses and clubs before in order to earn an extra buck for college, and crowds seem to appreciate his unassuming nature and deep lyrics. At heart Christian is a genuine romantic. He truly believes in "happily ever after" and that "love can conquer all." What he hasn't determined for certainty is his own sexuality. Outwardly he appears and behaves mostly as a heterosexual, but he has also had relationships with males, as well as one MTF trans-person.
