So the cake was my go to recipe for chocolate cake - which is Prue Leith's Rich Chocolate Cake recipe and has never ever failed me and is rich and chocolatey and cakey and yummy.

Wow. I may have a go at that recipe, if that's ok, but I have never managed to make decorations that awesome. Well done!

I think you absolutely should give it a try :) It's an easy cake and you have much baking knowledge :)

The keys to the decorations? Silicone ice-cube moulds :) And lots of testing it out - and giving the testers that don't work to a willing test victim :) (Roland was very happy with this)
