Gosh! Is it really nearly February?!
How does time fly eh! I am being a little rubbish about updating regularly and as always - I promise to try and update a bit more regularly!
So Christmas happened - and was lovely. We had Christmas eve with Roland's family and a couple of days down in Somerset with Mum and Dad. I got Bat'Leth which now hangs in pride of place above our fireplace :)
Since then I have mostly been working hard and doing the usual. The Car passed it's MOT without any issues which pleased me greatly.
I have been baking bread rolls and cooking soups and fiddling about with my wines.
The exercise plan started well and I lost the December weight quickly but it has stalled due to dark mornings but will be back on track soon! I have a wonderful app for my Iphone which I use to log all my foods and my exercise - and is really good at keeping me honest!
We went to the Skullduggery January one day event and it was Much Fun and is less than an hour's drive so we will be making a concerted effort to go regularly there - also the people are lovely too.
This weekend saw us ging out for a Chinese for a friend's birthday - it was a real giggle and emded up with Leah purchasing vast quantities of Maple syrup for me to make maple syrup wine with (like mead only maple syrup instead)
On saturday we chilled out muchly and I started a kit cherry wine that I'd been given by my boss.
On sunday I played around with leather - which I haven't done for ages. I am upgrading my armour for Skullduggery and making new bracers and a belt to put my ring mail skirt on. We also made Roland a foxfur hat.
Zumba tonight!
