My personal thoughts:
I didn't read any of the books before I saw the movie, which I must admit put me off going to see it for awhile. I wanted to read the book first, but college and finals just didn't leave me with any time for it to be done. Anyway, in my opinion it was super great without me having read the book and now I have even been motivated to read all of the books. It was simply brilliant. It was definitely much better than I had expected since I didn't really know what the storyline was to begin with.
I was really impressed with Disney and I am so glad that they kept all of the religious symbolism in, because it wouldn't be anything like what C.S. Lewis had intended if anyone tried to change it.
It was very suspenseful and it made me jump a few times! Especially those wolves! And I also shed a tear for Aslan. I think they did extremely well with the special effects!
Oh and the character William Moseley that played Peter was adorable. So what if he's like 12.. he's going to be a hearthrob - I can already tell.
I wish I were a little kid again.
