Belmont Stakes....
Big Brown was the favorite going in. I was sure he was going to win. He looked so good up until the last 1/2 mile. When given his head he just didn't run. He broke his trainer's heart when he didn't even try. So far the horse is in good health, today just wasn't his day. Maybe he just didn't feel like running so hard or maybe it was just to hot. Only the horse knows. It was nice to see that the long shot won the race but it would have been better to have another triple crown winner.
