Needless to say, I hope this doesn't turn out to be a hoax. I heard the father speak this morning on "The Today Show" and he seemed sincere, but who knows? I hate the fact that I immediately mistrust him, but with all the reality shows out there... And the fact that they've appeared on "Wife Swap" didn't make me any more trusting. (This link goes to "The Today Show" -- and it includes a video link.) By the way, there's the chance to vote on what you believe -- and most people seem to think this was a hoax.
Well, I'm glad that there's an investigation going on. If it was a hoax, they need to be held accountable. The amount of people and resources spent on the 'search' for the boy? Totally wrong if he was never in danger.
What a world we live in. Yesterday I just wanted to hear that the little boy was okay! (sigh)
