Two O'Clock and All Is Well!

It's just past 2:00 a.m. and I'm working on the festival website...

Actually, I've been working on it since around 10:30 p.m., on and off. I finished two deadlines and worked on my Excel spreadsheet 'To Do' List, so I'm feeling a little bit more organized. (It's such a massive website that it takes a lot of time to keep on top of it -- especially in the months prior to our festival.)

My goal this year is to spend less time focusing on festival work -- and more time focusing on other projects (like books I want to write).

So, how am I doing so far?

I figured I might as well work, considering Marilyn mistressmarilyn needed to do her hair tonight, as she has an early morning meeting tomorrow.

I'm going to the office on Friday (as I clearly didn't go today), so I can do some necessary IT-related tasks.

Tomorrow I need to finish up the eNewsletter that will go out as part of a multi-part PR plan on Thursday. (I already finished the new Flash slideshow for the Home page and the related News item, which is four pages of code.) So I should easily be good to go on Thursday!

I don't track my actual hours, because I break things up so much. So, no, I've no clue how many hours a week I put in. I only know that I've been cutting back successfully (for the most part), and plan to keep it that way.

Well, it's heading toward 2:30 a.m., so hopefully we'll head to bed soon. My plan from here on out is to ALWAYS get up when Marilyn does, whether I've had enough sleep, am under the weather or whatever. There's no excuse for me to sleep in, as far as I can see. I never used to do it, so I think it's a very bad habit I've fallen into. (sigh) I'm determined to change it, though! (Keep your fingers crossed for me!)
