Pepsi's Customer Service? Not So Good.
On November 8, our staff was informed that Pepsi was taking back their machine (located in our lunch room) due to their 'Vending Volume Benchmarks' -- meaning that the machine wasn't 'performing' and the cost of service wasn't 'practical' for them.

THAT'S HORRIBLE!!!!! ohmorningglory November 29 2007, 14:50:18 UTC
It doesn't matter about making money -- as if they don't make enough -- but to take it away after all you've said -->gag! That's absolutely not right!
Do let the company know. It may have been just one person's decision, someone who doesn't have the slightest idea.
If it doesn't work out to get it back, you could consider a wonderful basic, no frills refrigerator in it's place for all to use. They work well and may be what staff needs.

I feel that way, too, obviously.

But I feel bad that I just lost one of my friends over this. (sigh)

oops! I just read the comments that weren't there earlier. So sorry she took it so personally. It seems she is torn between loyalties rather than accepting just 'what is'.

Not really - and I'm going to reply here rather than directly to charlie, because I'm a bit lazy. I have no problem, what-so-ever with the annoyance. That bothers me not at all. It's a cooperation, it's got problems, people are more important. What I am is unwilling to ask her to filter the posts or to limit what she says in her own journal because I'm having a crappy year, a short temper, and very little desire to read it. It's not the rant that made me decide this was the smartest decision - it was the warning to expect a lot of it. I? Don't want to read a lot of it. Therefore rather than expecting her to cater to me (because wtf) I'm doing what is, actually, more sane. Walking away from reading something that would get up my nose.
