(Of course, I was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher at one point. As a child I was convinced I wanted to be a Missionary. And I used to carry my Bible around at one point during high school so I could read it during study hall... I've read much of it, but not quite all.)
It's not that I believe every word, though, for the record. To me it's like a great piece of literature. I'm afraid I'm not one of those who believes that everything can be answered by the Bible. Yet I've found many truths there, too...
As Dande said, I did guess a few times. (grin) But I guess you could call those guesses 'educated guesses.' I had a pretty good idea what the answer was, in other words.
I wish I could remember what I read better than I do -- and certainly not just the Bible! Wouldn't that be a miraculous thing? Not total recall, but say, to be able to remember even half of all I've read.
I've read an awful lot of books in my life...
