A Painful Day -- Plus: Bedroom and Chores...
I'm in a ton of pain right now and there's no denying it. My blood sugar was high again this morning (obviously from the pain).
I spent most of the day lying on my bed in my bedroom (on top of the covers), reading and watching TV. Or listening to TV much of the time and not really watching it...
But late in the day I decided to try and DO a few things, considering Marilyn was working such a long, hard day! (She didn't get home until 8:30 p.m.)
I gathered all the garbage in the house and took it out. (Tomorrow is garbage night.) And I took out the recycling. I went out briefly into the back yard in the afternoon, but didn't stay there long. It was sunny and pretty (blue skies), but I just wasn't up for enjoying it.
I got in and picked up my bedroom quite a bit. And even did some laundry. I just can't do my usual 'up and down' with our stairs -- normally I do that without even thinking dozens of times a day.
I also picked up a bit in the kitchen and in the family room. Nothing much, but still...
And I brought pop upstairs from the laundry room fridge to put in the kitchen fridge. And bottled water from the garage to the same to chill it for use.
Now I really need to WASH MY HAIR before heading to bed. It's nearing midnight right now.
I can't remember what clever thing I was working on today -- it's totally left my brain. Hahaha. It must not have been THAT clever. But I'm still learning NEW things about my iPad and iPhone -- and about the Apps I use.
Oh! I use an App called 1Writer that's pretty nifty. And I figured out today how to 'move' folders around, which is pretty awesome. I used to think I had to create a NEW folder where I wanted it, then move the contents there and delete the old one. Clearly it's not that EASY to do, or I wouldn't have been so confused about it before this! Hahaha. But I need to write the instructions out for others who use this wonderful App.
I got a new App but don't like it. Sigh. It had good recommendations, but it's not what I wanted...
Marilyn and I tried watching "Viceroy's House," which is a 2017 film still out in some places. The beginning was promising and we really liked Gillian Anderson in it, but it got so boring neither one of us could stick with it. Full of some fine actors and beautiful scenes. But the politics are hard to follow and it got very dark and sad...
