Today was cooler, happily. Not that we went out, however! Marilyn and I stayed in and stayed down almost the entire day. All we did was watch TV and play on our iPads.
We spent HOURS watching "
Rich Man, Poor Man" -- the television 1976 series based on the 1969 novel. We loved the book and we LOVED the mini-series! Rudy Jordache is still one of our all-time favorite characters!
I'd love to see 'Book Two' as well -- the television series based on the mini-series that continued the saga. Again, we were huge fans.
We ate food around the house and had homemade popcorn tonight.
It really was a quiet, lazy day!
I had stayed up most of the night, what with blogging so late (and having such a hard time with the photo share I'd wanted to do).
I saw some old episodes of Gidget and the Partridge Family (as I already mentioned in my last entry).
Oh! We saw a good Columbo today, too! "Rest in Peace, Mrs. Columbo" (from 1990) Very entertaining.
And that was our day, frankly. Which was fine by both of us!
I fell down on one of the days recently when I didn't blog. We were at Macy's shopping. We'd gone to the dressing room and were inside a big one together. I went to sit down and just missed the end of the bench and went down to the floor. Ouch. I tweaked my left knee, right ankle and as it turned out my right hip, too. Originally the first two things bothered me, but later it was all about my hip (and still is). Just clumsiness, I guess. Anyway...
Bed time!
