Marilyn's 40th Anniversary Party is Tomorrow!
I'm just getting over a low blood sugar incident. I'm still shaky and feeling pretty yucky, but I'm better than I was.
I started to feel hot (like having a hot flash) and just icky at 10:00 p.m. I'd been thinking og going outside to walk in front of the house. I'm so close to 10,00 steps, I wanted to try and get there. I guess I need to let it go, now... (sigh)
It was a busy day at the office. We didn't leave until past 8:00. We went directly to the Lloyd Center. I wanted Marilyn to get the purse that she'd seen last night. Happily it was still there, and she did get it. I feel crummy now, so even though I had details of my day to share, I don't think I'll write much.
I did have a website meeting with Carol and Christine. Things are really hopping with the website.
Also, Donn was in. He fixed a computer for Mariah, then worked with Symantec on about half the computers...
Cool thing about today? I wore the new top I got yesterday, with a pair of skinny jeans. I got compliments from tons of people! I've never had that many comments for anything I've worn to work. I've had those pants for ages, but suddenly they seem to fit better. Very fun.
Tomorrow is going to be a special day. I hope everything goes perfectly for Marilyn. She's certainly earned this celebration! Imagine. 40 years!
Sue was in the office today. She's here from Oklahoma for the party.
Marilyn needs to go to an important meeting at 11:00 tomorrow. Then she'll be coming home to rest. We'll leave at 3:00 to go have some drinks prior to the party (where they'll be serving wine and beer at the event). A drink or two will help us both relax before the large gathering of people.
There's going to be an after-party when the celebration is over (which runs from 4:30-7:30). I have no idea how late that's going run, so I guess I need to post an entry early tomorrow.
I wonder if we'll be able to get our steps in tomorrow?
Fitbit Update: Marilyn did 9,500 steps. I did 9,354 steps. I can't believe I didn't make 10,000! Darn!!!
