Halloween-ish Event at Lone Fir Cemetery Today! (woo hoo)
Marilyn and I went over to the Lone Fir Cemetery event at noon today (described HERE). It's a lot like the event we went to last year in Astoria (while staying down at the beach house). People dress up like the famous 'guests' that are in the cemetery, and then they tell us about their lives.
We met up with Angel and his wife Cathy for part of the tour, then did part of it just the two of us. It was a nice day, totally dry and lovely -- very much an autumn day.
Then we went for Starbucks before coming home.
I have to admit I spent the rest of the day in bed, not feeling too great. But that's okay. I'm hanging in there.
Getting ready to maybe watch a movie -- but at least to eat. I haven't been hungry much of the day, so Marilyn just snacked and I didn't really eat at all. So we'll try a late meal and see what's what.
The damn microwave is beeping at me (!!!), so I need to go before it makes me explode. Hahahahaha.
