Rest in Peace, Dear Friend WAYNE...
I'll post about today in a separate post -- it doesn't belong here.
Sister Sue just called with terrible news: Her dear friend, Wayne, was killed in an auto accident today. (He was on Highway 30 and someone crossed over into his lane and hit him head on, killing him instantly.)
Wayne was a friend to Marilyn and me, too -- but he was so important in Sue's life. She talked to him every single day.
Wayne actually stayed at our beach house (he slept in my bedroom, in my bed.)
More recently Wayne and his wife, Holly, took sister Sue to the Grand Floral Parade.

This has been a terrible shock. Marilyn and I had a difficult day -- but the day pales when we face this shocking news.
Life is so fleeting...
Wayne will be missed!
