My wishlist!
Finally getting around to posting this... I'll get to granting other people's wishes as soon as I can! I'm excited to get started! =D
The Rules
Step One
#Make a post like this on your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love an icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
# Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in the video description so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
# Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals). And now here's the important part:
# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. You don't need to claim that you're doing something for someone-if they get more than one of something they wanted, fantastic! Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My wishlist:
1. A multi-fandom vid of my favorite shows/couples (Lost: Charlie/Claire, Daniel/Charlotte; Supernatural: Dean/Jo, Dean&Cas, Dean&Sam; Heroes: Peter/Emma, Sylar/Elle; FlashForward; Fringe: Peter/Olivia; Vampire Diaries) Any song you like! =)
2. A Peter/Olivia (Fringe) vid - preferably with the song "When the Heartache Ends" by Rob Thomas, but if you're not a fan (blasphemy, btw XD) you could use a song that's somewhat similar to that one. ;-)
3. Rob Thomas fanart. Banners, wallpapers, headers, whatever. Just want some art. =D Cuz he is an amazing singer.
4. A Dean/Claire (Lost/Supernatural crossover) vid. A sequel to my "Tears Like Diamonds" vid would be frickin AWESOME. =D That vid can be found here: http://polarbearvillage.ning.com/video/tears-like-diamonds-a
5. Somewhere I can download and/or watch the movie Ten Inch Hero! >_< I can't find it anywhere myself... It's an indie movie, so I dunno if it can be found online, but I thought I'd ask anyway, cuz it looks soo cute! ^_^
6. Multi-fandom wallpaper =D Again, my fave fandoms are Lost, Supernatural, Heroes, FlashForward, Fringe, and Vampire Diaries.
7. A Castiel/Anna (SPN) vid. Any song, any story you want. I just wanna see a vid with them. =)
8. An AU Daniel/Charlotte (Lost) vid. Again, any song, any story, but make it a happy ending. They deserve one. =)
9. Mix CD - if you do this one, please just post it online rather than mailing it to me. =) To give you some idea, some bands/singers I like are Rob Thomas (...you knew that already?? XD), the Fray, Hinder, Nickelback, and Lifehouse. So I like music similar to that.
10. A vid about Peter and Nathan Petrelli (Heroes). Not AU, please, just something about their relationship throughout the show.
