I feel like there has been so much going on lately that I don't even know where to start.
life is pretty good though.
had a great time in Portland this last weekend for work/fun. Lee being able to come with me made all the difference. the drive down was a white knuckle rainstorm and I was glad for the company. hanging out with Jace and Lee in between screenings (as well as the rest of the crew down in Portland) was great. Meeting a million new filmmakers was also so inspiring and lovely. I feel some new desire to work on my own buds of a project as well now.
sushi dinner with sam tonight was so fantastic. I was sorry to cancel on part two of the evening due to work, but I still had a grand time.
school is going well. It is work and I have to make efforts to stay focused, but I am pressing on.
I am trying to keep up my volunteering at the food bank. some of the work is so silly that there is no doubt that it's useful. Like people not having access to food until we re-package it. ok, then I am happy to open endless small cardboard boxes for you.
It's winter now though and so dark. I look forward to getting into some winter outdoor adventures.
