(no subject)
So I had an interesting last week.
First we left Sunday for Leadership camp(after a really long story about Mr. Troyka and Value Jet) which I really enjoyed. I had so much fun getting to know all the other DI's and working on things for next year. Though I didn't like having to walk across the camp blind folded and then not being able to use my arms, I'd say the camp was wonderful! Even the staying up until 4:00am with Brittany Meador and then waking up at 6:00am( you really can get alot done on only 2 hours of sleep).
So when I got back Monday I washed my clothes all day and then Tuesday I drove( by myself) to Austin. I only had one little mishap driving up there. I started out in the wrong direction if I hadn't have noticed it I would have ended up in galveston. So once I got that all straightened out, (which wasn't easy Houston drivers are mean) it was smooth sailing all the way to Austin. I love being in Austin mainly cause I was born there and it just feels more like home. I had tons of fun with my Memaw and my brother. Then I had to drive back Friday for the party and yet again I started out going the wrong way though this time it was alot worse!
I took an exit when I shouldn't have and I got really lost and I had to call my Memaw to come get me and found out that I was only like 2 minutes away from the road I should have been on and I was going parallel to it the whole time. eesshhh was I embarrassed.
Any who, I got home from Austin and I went to the section party at Lee's house. It was so much fun! I played pool and I beat Amanda Dennler and Grant Johnson! (hahaha!!!) and Amanda beat me once *claps* then we just kinda hung out for a while and then Miss Brittany Meador and I went out and got drinks cause we ran out. I was really surprised how many people showed up that weren't saxes. I guess at the end of the day people just wish they were a member of the best section! :-D
So that was my wonderful week! And haha props to my mom for trying to make a cake without me. Its a beautiful shade of burnt!! and all I have to say is I TOLD YOU SO!
