So I had my first T injection today! Whoohoo! Full dose (thought I was getting half for mental reasons) of 200mg/mL. Oh, except I blacked out during the injection...
That's only happened to me once before. When I was a senior in high school, doing a blood test for the BMC health forms, and I hadn't eaten all morning. To be fair, all I've had to eat today was half a cheesesteak and some water.... But yeah. I looked away 'cause I wasn't feeling good, and I fell "asleep" and I started dreaming or whatever (can't remember what of, though). And then I came back to consciousness 'cause I guess the doctors were calling my name and I couldn't for the life of me remember where I was or what I was doing.... and then I opened my eyes and I remembered, hah. According to the nurse (who is extremely nice! I like her!), I was shaking a little, and the one doctor asked if I ever had a seizure.... which I haven't. But yeah. Hopefully next injection will go better, hah. Must remember to eat more. (And I'm eating the other half of the cucumber I had the other night and a can of Coke....)
Also, got results back from the second blood test they did last time. My thyroid levels are indeed a little bit low. Which isn't urgent, but the doctor would like me to come in to discuss that and see if I should start on medication (Synthroid). Called up my mom and it turns out that she's hypothyroidic as well and takes synthroid. Way to tell me useful information, mom. So yeah. Waiting to schedule appointment for that (and for second injection) until I know my work schedule (which starts on the 1st, this coming Monday).
And I got three of my four grades back! I am extremely pleased. I got a 3.0 in physics because Beckmann hates me.... and a 3.7 in metaphysics and a 3.7 in TransNation! Just waiting back on Another Country, now. Silly Haverprof. Also, does anyone know if it's a common request to see a prof's reaction/comments/whatever to a final? I really would like to see what Morgan has to say about my paper and Prof Lima about the documentary (if anything).
Whooo.
