OK, my give up.

This. Is. Not. Funny.

After numerous attempts at trying to post the new chapter of Hooligans, I decided LJ just didn't want to do it. I concluded that it was for a number of reasons: the fact that I'm using a crappy computer that is not mine, the fact that I am using Internet Explorer and the fact that my computer skills rivals those of an ant born ( Read more... )

Yeesh...what do we need to sacrifice to LJ to make this happen?

Can I just say, this chapter was a bright spot in a really crazy, hectic, shitty week. You put a smile on my face and for that I thank you.

Again, the characterizations! Poor Jared, running with whatever comes to mind because Mamoru makes him nervous. Someone has a man-crush...lol. And his digs towards Japanese people? Perfect lead up to Mamoru's burn. He seems to be suffering from "ignorant foreigner" sydrome.

The banter between the guys is brilliant. The way they talk to each other reminds me of my male buddies. And weirdly enough, some of my female buddies. Noel's a hoot. One second spouting f-bombs like it's going out of style, the next second he's calling his mom and asking to talk to his dog : ).

I like how you portrayed Mamoru's relationship with the Senshi. After all these years, he's become so much one of the girls that even Ami thinks nothing of scoring a hit on him. But you still made it so that he has thought about them in a less then brotherly way. He may be in a committed relationship but he isn't blind. The relationship between Rei and Minako in their seen made me go awww...

I could go on gushing, but I'll finish here by saying that I love this fic and can't wait to see more.

Also, “Quiz On My Face.”

*snort*

ps. I meant "scene" not "seen". That's what happens when you hit post before preview.

Oh Li! Bummer for you! I'm glad this helped! And I hope this week is better!

Oh heck yes! That's EXACTLY what it is! And can I use the following line at some point? Because it's so funny and true!

After all these years, he's become so much one of the girls that even Ami thinks nothing of scoring a hit on him.

I figure after being around TEN women and like, no guys, for so many years, he's got be have been a little wusseyfied. But never fear the Shitennou will teach him how to suck it up and roll with the punches!

Week's been somewhat better...as it turns out, two of my students have been...incarcerated; so my class size is smaller.

Feel free to use man-crush. It's actually something I stole off a couple of guy friends who were discussing who would make acceptable "man-crushes" without making them gay. And guys thing we talk about weird things.

Mamo's one guy who's in touch with his feminine side, I agree. Maybe once he moves in he'll give the guys potpourri sachets for their drawers.

Next chapter? ;)

Well that's uh....*blinks* good? I think. And kind of funny actually. Girls, serious props to you for doing what you do! Wait, what is it you do?

I teach high school in the "inner city" *shrugs*, but that was my choice so what can you do? I'm just happy to have work.

Also, if the potpourri sachets don't impress, he could always show off any baking skills he learned from Mako (scones and teacakes perhaps?)
