Last time I attempted to post here, Livejournal for some stupid reason deleted everything after the first paragraph. Thanks Livejournal. Best of all, it didn't save anything at all from after it.
Well, I'm going to give it another go now, and see if it works at all.
Calli and I are still together, though at times it seems that the relationship is being held together by nothing more than our mutual nostalgia for how things were and wishful thinking. She seems to like starting arguments over very stupid things. Example would be the other week there. It was one of my best friends birthdays, so I invited Calli along ages ago. I invited her even though my friend and Calli don't exactly like each other.
Then the week before we were to go, I reminded her of it. Her response was "Oh, actually, I'm working early on Sunday morning so I'm going to have to stay at mine." I gathered this meant she was going to just stay in. So the next day (the Friday - the party was on the Sat), I got a call asking what my plans were for the Sat. I said I was gonna go to the pub, get dinner, then head round to the party.
Calli then asked why she wasn't involved. To which I replied "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you weren't able to come. How bout I meet you at your work, we go get dinner and then head down!". The response was something along the lines of "Doesn't matter, it's not like I'm important in your life anyway".
This argument went on all night despite me apologising numerous times for picking her up wrong. C'est la vie.
I'm giving it one more chance. And the only reason for that is I love her. Pure and simple. And apparently she still loves me. This is against the advice of all my friends who think I should just end it. It is true that for a month there I was miserable, but things are looking a bit up, so who knows.
In other news, I didn't end up going to Holland...was going to cost quite a bit to move, and I just don't have the funds. Plus I can't afford two flats at once. I'm going to look into it again in a couple months. I may email the guy later this week to ask for advice.
My band, Feedback, has now got a regular gig in Edinburgh. Every Monday night. It's pretty good, though is an acoustic set and we're nominally an electric band lol. We cope though, and we're pretty decent. THAT'S what counts. No wait, we have fun too, and THAT is what counts.
I'm going to try to take up writing again, I think I'm going to be doing review/journalistic type writing though. I live in the best place in the world for live comedy, so I reckon reviewing shows is something I can do. And I know enough people in the comedy circuit that I can call on for help, so fingers crossed.
Anyway, going to sign off now.
Ciao.
