Christmas indeed
Well, it's been an interesting couple of days.
Almost didn't make it to work yesterday, and when I finally did, I found out that my train home had been cancelled due to the weather. Except this was the train that was supposed to take me to my parents for Christmas. So I spent the day worried about that. Then they came back on again, so my manager let me away early so I could catch it just in case they stopped again.
Got home, and almost instantly I was in bother with my mum for something...still don't know what yet...probably walked funny.
Today, I drove to Edinburgh to get some stuff I forgot to lift, and to give a lift to the airport. Said cheerio and headed home, then bummed about for a bit before heading to Livi to pick up my brother. Then came back home to find I was in trouble again...I'm guessing I've been missed.
Seriously, I think next year I'll head out the country. At least then I can relax. I hear New York is nice this time of year.
So now I'm just sitting watching Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark in HD (my dad got Sky HD). Tomorrow is Christmas, I'll open my gifts, have dinner, go to bed, get up on boxing day and head back to Edinburgh. Got work anyway so gets that out the way.
Who needs christmas!
I might add this is the 4th Christmas in a row which hasn't went smoothly, though it is the first where one of the family isn't in hospital! (Last year t'was my Dad getting a tripple bypass on Christmas eve)
