Update again
Just to keep y'all in the loop.
My Dad got out today, but only on day release. He goes back in tomorrow because...
He's been scheduled in for Christmas Eve for the quadruple bypass. About time.
The nurses have been nothing but great, but I wish to God that the surgeons and the doctors would TALK TO EACH OTHER AND THE NURSES AND THE PATIENTS.
What the fuck is the point shoving my Dad from the PreOp Cardiac Care Unit to the POSTOP one when he hasnt been for the OP. Then NOT TELLING THE DOCTORS ETC so that the doctots just assume that he has had his op and is fine.
Or how about the fact it took them three days to realise my Dad was IN hospital, and that was only when HE phoned them. This was after he had been told the doctor would be up to see him ASAP on the first day!
God dammit!
Still, at least he is home!
