Atlantic City to Cape Cod
Getting to my sister's house was a bit of a challenge. Cape Cod roads tend to spring like fishbones from central highways, not interacting with each other as they go to the beach. And the road my sister's house is on had a wire down from the previous evening's storm. Fortunately, there was a way around on some roads less plowed, but still passable. I parked by the road and followed a narrow path to their door... someday the snow will melt.
We took a walk, but not down to the beach, 'cause even walking up the ice sheet seemed unlikely.
But we enjoyed spending a day and a half together... listening to WGBH-FM, watching an episode of "The Midsomer Murders" called "The Glitch" and, of course, Downton Abbey... which was the first time I'd seen it.
While I thought it was impressive that southern NJ had snowy owls... it seems Cape Cod has quite an invasion of them as well.
As I left, the weather looked threatening.
