A play, then night...
I went swimming yesterday afternoon at the development's pool... the weather had been lousy so they closed the outdoor pool and the indoor one (with hot tub) was open instead.
Midway through my laps I realized that the Eagle Theatre had a new show opened, and I could go! (I had planned to go to Pennsylvania for a cookout, but decided the drive was too far)
So I quickly showered and drove up to Hammonton, buying a ticket to Smokey Joes Cafe... a musical revue of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller songs (with a few other composers thrown in)
I ate a quick dinner at a totally strange little place El Mariachi Loco, where a DJ was playing Beatles tunes intermixed with more modern stuff.. and the tortillas were wonderful.
Then back to the show, which was well acted, but not a lot of plot...
and home, to sleep through the night..
