Hello dead little community! I'll continue posting, even if no one is reading ;)
I think this week's episode deserves some discussion though, and I will follow up with a picspam!
If I could ask the writers one question, it would be why we had to wait until one of the pair was killed off before we learnt so much wonderful backstory?
I think it's odd that this episode was the one to reaffirm, and completely represent why I love this pairing so much! There's a depth of feeling there that can be accepted by everyone, be it a really, really fantastic friendship, or the hint of something more occurring in the past (or the future).
We're going to have to rely on the alt!verse to provide us with a further chance to see these two characters together, let's hope that we're lucky enough to have writers who remember continuity. Which they did rather well this episode, to be fair.
So, Charlie approached Liv first, on her first big job, to reassure her. Oh Charlie. I love him ever more.
And, even better, we now have information to base writing upon. Go forth and fic, my friends!
