One of my most anticipated movies this year is Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, directed by Swedish Tomas Alfredson who is brilliant. And starring all sorts of amazing actors like Gary Oldman, Colin Firth and not least Tom Hardy. And so here's a new still I found today; Tom in a wig and looking surprisingly beautiful:
Best tv show at the moment is in my view The Killing. It's based on a Danish show which has been aired in Sweden, but which I never watched then, sadly. The American/Canadian version is moody, sad, complex, engaging and very interesting. That how I like it.
The finale of Supernatural was pretty good, particularly the very last episode had that extra special impact I've been missing for large parts of the rest of the season. But I laughed at the very last shots of Dean/Sam/Castiel's faces - there was a slightly parodic quality to those close-ups.
A couple of recs of the Inception variety:
Merely Players by raitala. A splendid backstory for Eames where he uses his considerable charm and adaptive qualities to get by. It's completely believable. Arthur/Eames, of course.
Double Buck by wldnst. A completely hilarious and sweet AU where Arthur & Eames are lumberjacks! It's wonderfully absurd and delightful. Arthur is so very, very contrary, it's brilliant.
