Fabulously sleazy

I'll just keep it up, shall I? (I can comfort you with the fact that I'll be gone most of this weekend and that I'm going to Beijing in two weeks... No time for obsessive spam! *g*)

I've uploaded yet another interview that I find really fascinating. It's an interview from the now defunct British morning show GMTV, from May this year. This is sleazy!Tom at his 'finest'. I mean seriously sleazy! I'd even be a little afraid if I met this guy after dark (until he smiled at me, that is). It's the longish, greasy hair, the horrible clothes (makes him look like a pimp or something) and even in the way he sits. But most of all it's his tattoos, the way he seems to be showing them off. I don't even LIKE tattoos (unless they're rather discreet)! Jeez. I suspect the ever so nice hair do has something to do with a part he was filming at this time (does anyone know what it might have been? Or is he trying to get into the Mad Max vibe already?). I always get the feeling that Tom really emulates his characters' traits when he's filming, so maybe that's one reason he looks like this.

But what I REALLY love about this interview is the fact that despite all of the above, it's about how Tom is involved with a trust that helps young people in trouble (drugs, crime whatever) get their lives back on track. It's completely adorable (and admirable), just look at the way he hugs those kids and the way he ducks and smiles, looking nothing like the thug he's dressed up to look like. Magical!Tommy indeed! ♥

Furthermore, I'm sure those of you already sold have read this by now, but I've just finished reading what is probably my favourite Inception fic so far: Metaphors As Mixed As You Can Make Them by halflinen. It's the finest example of how to use the premise of the movie and produce a perfect piece of slash fiction, filled to the brim with beautiful, beautiful pining. SO MUCH PINING! It's 50 000 words of perfection. So there's your cue to start reading Inception fic too. *g*
