In times of summer
It's a little cooler here today, thank god. However, my office and my apartment still has a lot of residue heat, so it's still too damn warm! I can't even remember how the past, unusually cold, winter felt... It wasn't a very good idea to not have my vacation now instead of later. Hrmph. It's also much too quiet at work, it makes me incredibly lazy.
Apparently, the new Sherlock Holmes series on BBC is premiering on July 25. You can read all about it here including a trailer. I'm definitely going to check it out. I do love the idea of having a contemporary setting, that in itself makes it worth checking out, IMO. However, it's a pity, in a way, that RDJ & Jude Law came before them, because it's difficult to not see a serious downgrade - look-wise. RDJ & Jude are just so terribly handsome, aren't they? And these guys ... are not. That's not the most important thing, of course, but it's hard not to compare. Funny thing, the guy who plays Holmes has an even more impossible name than his character: Benedict Cumberbatch. Haha! It amuses me greatly. Also, doesn't he look like an older, wirier (and less pretty) version of Colin Morgan? *g*
I've been watching the Canadian show Regenesis, since it was recommended somewhere around here. I've just finished season two and I find it quite interesting. Seems like the kind of show where I learn a thing or two! I just hope they're not completely wrong with their science, though...
