How I'm amused

While the (supposed) life of J2 seems to get more and more soap like, I want to make a few remarks about their fictional counterparts (no time for caps!).
This was another hilarious episode! I love this show's sense of humour, som I'm all for it. Even if it IS a little weird that Sam & Dean are spending so much time NOT stopping the apocalypse... Just like Dean said himself: We don't have time for this! But for me, as an audience, it's all good.

The whole convention was a riot. I particularly loved the extreme enthusiasm from all the Sam & Dean impersonator; the way they all raised their hands at the same time seemed terribly funny to me. There is something very charming about the way this show has in it for everyone, even themselves. They're poking fun at everyone in their way, which makes every jab at fangirls/boys much more tolerable. I love how the Dean impersonators tried to speak in that weirdly deep grovely way that the real Dean does (I do wish Jensen would tone that down a bit, sometimes). I'm not sure the last bit with the 'we're partners' thing worked that well, though. It seemed a bit ... pasted on, somehow. Like a joke, in that haha, gay guys are icky way. Even if it WAS kind of funny, it seemed unnecessary. I'm not sure. (Makes you wonder what exactly Dean was smiling about at the end, by the car? The whole convention? A job well done? 'Sam' and 'Dean' as 'partners'? What's the general idea?)

And I have such love for Chuck, he is completely awesome! Rob Benedict is absolutely perfect, I adore him. In fact, I even found myself opposing his liaison with Becky - seeing as she wonderfully annoying - because she's not right for him! Haha! ♥

Except for Becky's helpfulness in the end, I do suppose the story was pretty pointless, on the whole. No character development, no story development (except, like I said, about the Colt). Still, terribly amusing.

Speaking of humour, is anybody but me watching Bored To Death? I find that show quite amusing, I must say. I have a thing for that dead-pan, absurd, low-key sense of humour. Jason Schwartzman is mostly the same in everything he does, but when it good, I find him very funny. Like, for instance, I love I ♥ Huckabees, partly because of him.

Furthermore, looks like I won't be home tomorrow for Merlin. On Sunday, though...
