Back in the real world
I'm back! And my vacation will very soon come to an end. Back at work on Monday. ::sigh:: Having a vacation is just so ... NICE. Anyway, London was great, we had terrific weather and I did some shopping and we visited at least one interesting museum: The museum of London Docklands. Very ambitious, very interesting museum about the history of London from the perspective of the Thames and its importance. I can recommend going there!
I'm completely and hopelessly behind on LJ. Four weeks worth, basically. I've already given up trying to keep up. If there's something you think I should know, please let me know. And is anyone missing True Blood because I was gone?
The first thing I saw as I got online was the SPN gag reel. YAY! Fabulous. My favourite part is the elevators, I love how those extras are so patient and so invisible to the Js. And I love Jensen getting clocked, there's something wonderfully tender about that moment. My only complaint about the reel is that they cut everything too short, I'd rather have fewer, but slightly longer chunks of scenes. It's funnier when there's a context, rather than just a goofy face.
I've not had time to read much, but I did just finish reading one of my favourite big bangs, so far: Let Us In by
standing_fic (J2). It has an original tone and a lovely supporting cast.
It's kind of fun to see all the love that Alexander Skarsgård is getting lately. Go Alex! You're awesome. But to not make his younger brother Gustaf feel inferior, here's quite a lovely picture promoting him doing Hamlet, later this year. There's eyeliner and stuff and it's quite pretty.
