The good, the bad and the snuggly

I haven't had time to watch a single new Torchwood episode yet. I guess that means a Torchwood marathon is in my future. Yay!

I am slowly but surely watching Chuck, though. I've only got three episodes left now. And OK, now I kind of love it. Even if it's not a show I feel fannish about. I don't need to know anything more other than the episodes. Also, I do feel this is the kind of show that would benefit from having a definite end, and soon. I understand it's been renewed for another 13 eps, right? I kind of hope they'll wrap it up at that, because Chuck's predicament can't really go on much longer, without turning the whole thing into a true tragedy. The amount of lying he does and the way he keeps disappointing and betraying (in a way) his sister and best friend is starting to get a bit much. Something's got to give, to help Chuck stay a loveable, funny show.

Something EXTREMELY irritating:
Jensen is one of EW's Sci Fi hotties (which is lovely, not to mention that's my favourite photo of him. So pretty. And you can vote for him. Vote!). But then they refer to that so very obviously VERY FAKE twitter and I want to kick them. My god! I feel so sorry for all the unsuspecting fans who think it's so great to be able to send messages to Jensen & Jared. When it's just some completely delusional, evil fan doing it. Can't someone shut them down? PLEASE. It really shouldn't be allowed. And now that even EW thinks it's real... Jeez.

And then I need to rec this wonderful, wonderful story by
setissma called Gunshy. It's J2 AU, in a Bones-like setting. And it's beautifully high-paced, witty and lovely. You should also read
bauble's It's a Love Story which is about Sam & Dean, in a world where everything is the same, except there are no supernatural beings causing their problems. It's just life. And it's so, so good. Even though it's actually gen. :)

Oh, and all the major Swedish newspapers are boycotting Britney Spears' concerts here, because of the contract they're obliged to sign, where you, among other things, agree to not pass on any information you might hear about her health or her 'philosophical, spiritual or other beliefs'. It's the same in every country she visits, apparently, but only Swedish and Danish papers are protesting. And boy, am I glad they are. Who the hell does she think she is? Insane and paranoid, that's what she is.
