- So, I watched those 'director's cuts' promos for the next episode of SPN over at CW and I'm wondering if anyone's got the others from the previous eps? If they're worth seeing, that is?
Also, I rewatched
Tall Tales (because I find that one truly hilarious, I particularly like the über-prissy way Dean makes Sam talk in that bar. And Dean's chipmunk eating! And the slowdancing alien! Ha!) and Born Under a Bad Sign. And when Dean in the end remarks that Sam had a girl in him a whole week, I couldn't help thinking, again, how fun it would have been if the demon-girl (although the demon doesn't have a gender, I presume?) would have try to get it on with Dean - as Sam. I want to read the stories where either one gets possessed, and decides they want to have sex with the other. Surely there are some good ones of that variety out there? I haven't had time to read a whole lot of SPN yet, but unfortunately, there seems to exist a lot of rather bad stuff. I am admittedly quite picky, though. I just read one where the POV kept changing like crazy. That just does NOT work.
Oh and am I the only one who thinks Dean's hair's gotten too short as the show's progressed? It looked a lot better in season 1! He looks so ... severe, somehow with the almost-crew cut. Or is it that he's gotten bulkier? Making his hair seem shorter? If that's even possible? Anyway, more hair for Dean! Hey, that could be the next fan campaign.
- I think I've mentioned it before, but I'm not terribly enamoured with You Ruined Me. In fact, unfortunately, I find I agree almost completey with the reviewer in
EW. I find it sadly dull. But hey, if it becomes a hit, I won't complain. It's just no music that interests me. But I think there will be other songs on the album I WILL like. I did like UY!
- We have a completely insane heatwave here this weekend. I'm not sure I've ever gotten a tan in Sweden on April 15, before. But it's been wonderful! Beautiful, warm, flowers are starting to bloom everywhere, birds are singing. And every Swede goes outdoors! It's quite funny, actually, to see how much most people are just longing to get out, sit outside and have a coffee, an ice cream or just turn your face to the sun. It's because the winter is dark and long. This past winter was short, but the autumn was very, very, very long instead. And that isn't an improvement. Anyway, it's impossible not to think that the warm weather we've had, basically for the whole past year, is the result of environmental issues. It IS a little freaky. Even if it is nice as well.
