based on that photo alone, I'll go see that film! (part Ackles letchery, part that it looks like *fun*)

Ackles letchery! Ha! That sounds deliciously devilish. :D

But Sam was from the future - that's why he knew about modern police work, as well as the current culture references. He just didn't feel like he fitted in any more once he finally got back i.e. woke up from his coma. That's why he committed suicide by jumping off the top of the police building, so he could get back to his hallucinated world.

Oh man. I completely misunderstood that one! Ha! I thought that he jumped off the building because he realised he could, without actual damage, kind of like in the first episodes where he's about to jump off the roof because he thought it wasn't real...

Sometimes, I'm really thick. *g*

Nah, not thick! *g* They did throw in the double bluff with Frank Morgan saying he was working undercover and showing him those old gravestones. But he jumped off the building after he cut himself and never even felt it - because he didn't feel alive in his real timeline any more and wanted to go back and save Annie and the others. Which meant he needed to get comatose again!

A movie about love, sex and sandwiches. Hmm, now I wonder what is ten inches long, the sandwich or, well, you know. Never mind, my mind's been in the gutter all day long. :)

I'm not exactly crazy about the sideburns and the mohawk, but I do love the make up.

Yeah, the make up is pretty nice. I don't care if the movie's crap, I want to see him in action, looking like that. :)

Could you, um, please not talk about potential sequelage outside the spoiler-cut? It's sort of, you know. Spoilery. For those of us trying to avoid spoilers.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I truly didn't realise I was saying anything spoilery. To be honest, I'm not quite sure which part you mean. But I'll be more than happy to take it away if you tell me what.

Again, sorry.

I don't even know, really--I've only seen the first ep of the second series--but talking about a sequel and "how many people can travel back in time to meet Gene Hunt" seemed sort of ... spoilerish? At least to my cranky "ahhh no spoilers!" brain.

But, er, I've been having something of a week, so it could just be me being cranky. Sorry. *g*

Aww! That's OK. And really, I didn't mean anything by my comment other than what you already know from the watching the very first episode of the first series... So. No spoilers there, I swear! :)
