Day 02 -- Your Favourite Movie
My favorite movie of all time is Welcome to the Dollhouse. I never expect anyone to know what it is because its kind of an obscure indie movie from the 90's. But when people do, I get really excited and talk incessantly about how much I love it. I always felt so bad for Dawn who was trying so hard to gain acceptance from everyone she thought should matter. But her parents were asshats, her brother was selfish, her sister was spoiled, her crush was a cock, and all the kids at her school were fuckers. Brandon is my favorite character from the movie but he's not without his flaws. He seems to genuinely like Dawn and takes comfort in her, but he's ashamed by her and that always made me sad. Her mother is without a doubt my least favorite character out of anything I have ever seen. That woman is absolutely the devil. That movie is so good that, in the middle of writing this post, I had to stop what I was doing and watch it. Here's one of my favorite scenes from the movie.
