Have you ever lay in your bed having the most amazing thoughts and thinking, it will be fine I will remember all this and write it all down in the morning.
Wrong....I can never remember what it was--the thoughts last night were a discriptive narrative that may have expanded to a novella. Alas it is gone, along with the wind it blows, maybe landing somewhere for someone to discover.
Finally I have a new mobile phone, Virgin..of course, I was feeling a little patriotic as those beastly chaps decided to attacks ones castle. It seems then that one must return home in August, I have a stay of execution until then.
Rather ghastly affair though what, apparently some of the old rugger chums were heading across the cobbles that day and found it more than they could bare. I guess we had a sheltered life at Trinity, the only trifle inconvenience was having to bend over and hold a crumpet in your bare cheeks as the seniors thrashed you with a cricket bat. Oh horrah for those days, but now it seems that these blighters have bowled a googly and we are again to step down the wicket and crack them for six to square leg.
I do hope Aunt Bess has managed to curtail those steeds, not much fun gallovanting among the willows when you're fearing for your life. Not that I will have much time for that sort thing what, especially as Whitehall seemed rather flustered with this whole affair. Well it seems they are not heading this way so one must pad up and head out into the field.
Smoke me a kipper I will be back for lunch.
