Down and out

Being unemployed really is hard,
One of the episodes of the Simpsons has homer looking like he was ship-wrecked; he had torn clothing and a beard and he had only been away from MArge for six hours. Well there are comparisons to be drawn; it's amazing simply four days being unemployed and this house now has it's own man friday. There is a temptation to sit outside with a guitar and try and earn some money busking. Next week will probably lead to a heavy dependence on illegal substances and then grand theft auto. A trip to the thrift shop is needed, it would be improper to be a bum without the brown dirty rain mac. Perhaps a brown bag and a bottle is required too; a certainty is of course the obligatory shopping cart which will be acquired from pet supplies plus at the next convenient opportunity.
Oh the Drama of it all.
But on a serious note a visit was made to a new hairdressers today called Aimee and Amy, it was cool, one girl was a trashy #@$@ and another was clearly well into heroin on a large scale. But the old hair is well and truly short now; to be honest not sure if it looks good or not though.
The broken window is fixed.....yay.....it was cold and raining but it had to be done so the weather was braved and it's all done, didn't see the neighbours though; probably too light still, although the curtain did ruffle a little.
And the silken sad uncertain
rustling of each purple curtain
thrilled me- filled me-with fantastic terrors never felt before
so that now to still the beating of my heart I stood repeating
tis some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door
this is it and nothing more
