the whole idea of becoming a "boring drug-free responsible student-guru" seems a little misguided. Yeah, you can change your life for the better but this doesn't necessarily mean giving up the things you enjoy. Start doing nice things for strangers and focusing on what YOU want the most and things should work out for the best. As for the whole living without desire and want, start with small steps. Give up little things that you know you can live without and over time it will become easier. Giant leaps usually end up nowhere, keep your head up AJ, i miss the shit out of you.
