Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for my family. No, really. My dad & stepmom invited all of us (me, John & my mom) to have TDay with them. My mom's side of the family has become so small - it's just my mom, my 3 cousins who all live in or near Jeff City MO, one elderly great aunt and my mom's cousin. That's makes for meager holiday gatherings, especially since I see the cousins from MO about once every 2-3 years. I would have spent more holidays with my dad, but didn't want to deal with the drama of Leaving Mother Alone for some damn holiday. My mom & stepmom get along famously, which is a hoot - and kind of goobs my dad out, which is even a bigger hoot. Anyway, we all went and had a lovely day with lots of good food and chatter. The weather was fabulous and the drive was uneventful. Tomorrow, it's back to wallpaper removal FTW!
