Don Flack is a practical man; he knows the risks associated with his job of choice as well as the job of being a CSI. So when the call came in that Hawkes was trapped under water he did not get scared or didn’t worry that he might lose his lover. No, Don Flack is not a man who allows his heart to lead him and certainly not a man to make rash decisions.
He simply took him time getting to the scene without breaking any traffic laws or swearing at others to get out of his way before he ticketed them, he was sure that the traffic wasn’t out to get him and he was sure that everyone was not driving like his grandmother, if he had one. Oh, no Flack was the image of calm and serenity because god forbids that something would happen to his lover on the one day he clear across town especially when its rush hour.
After nearly an hour he’s made it to Danny and Hawkes location only to see his lover being bandaged up and Danny standing around looking like he needs to sit really bad before he falls down. Don Flack is never the guy who lets his emotions show when he’s on the job so when he’s questioning everyone about what happened because he heard when the call came in he keeps his eyes on Danny only taking at glance in Hawkes’ direction to make sure he’s still alive and breathing.
And when he comments that they’ll do anything for an early pension and looks directly at Hawkes when he replies, that look wasn’t telling his lover wait till we get home. It wasn’t telling Hawkes he needed to be thought that he’s not allowed to be trapped under sea and scare the living day lights of me. No it wasn’t saying that at all. That look merely conveyed to Hawkes that his lover would take care of him until he got better and then fuck him in to mattress until he can’t even move. But then again he could have simply misinterpreted it all or did he.
The End.
