Pledge for Charity - The Essentials
The Essentials:
Charity pledge-a-thon that continues on throughout the year.
Participant = One who offers a fanwork.
Sponsor = One who pledges money in return for a fanwork.
Need = General charitable need. (e.g. Hunger, Animals, Education, etc.)
Charity = Specific charitable organization. (e.g. Unicef, Habitat for Humanity, etc.)
1) Each Participant will have control over quantity, pledge rates, etc.
2) Sponsor will then choose which Participant to pledge to based on fanwork/fandom.
3) This is not an auction. If you pledge, you will receive a fanwork.
4) Each round will last one month. 1 week for sign-ups/pledging, 3 weeks for Participants to complete their fanworks before the new round begins. Participants may take longer if they need to, but they won't be allowed to sign up for a new round. (Note: Round #1 sign-ups will be open for much longer.)
5) Pledge donations are due before the fanwork is started. Please Send a copy of your receipt of donation to charitypledge@verizon.net (MAKE SURE TO BLACK OUT OR ERASE YOUR NAME/ADDRESS/CREDIT CARD INFO). Once we get your email, we will reply telling you we got it and let the person who you bought from know you donated.
