Note the names. Auryn = gold and Dafydd = David. I went and looked up Welsh names. *looks proud*

That is you under the pile of blankets on the sofa?
*grins* Am glad it pleases.
*looks at Miri* Backstory. She wants backstory.

I'm supposed to be reading something for someone to spot errors and maybe offer suggestions. Am being bad. But it's cold and there was a 2 hour delay starting school during which I worried about ice and if I was supposed to be there even if others weren't and ended up at work 20 minutes early. *sighs* There were students there, so that worked out well. *rolls eyes*

I did, I did :D
I know Auryn for gold and Dafydd is a well known name :)

Me and pup and we shared our cocoon with hubby in the evening, the cat has made his own little quilt-cave upstairs, has to be different!

I don't envy you the cold, it stops you wanting to do anything. Its okay morning here but by evening I was running a scolding bath and just sitting in the bathroom enjoying the steam *sigh* then left the room to feel the cold air enter my lungs *shiver* Glad we have hot water at least.

Yes. Have done without hot water before. Even in Rep. de Panama where the humidity and temperatures were high, it was rough when the hot water went out. You've got to have some way to warm up and gas fires are nice but wood fires are where it's at,let me tell you. Wood fires warm you up fast. Ask any camper who's sat in front of one, roasting the front and growing icy on their back.

Don't envy you living there, high humidity sounds very uncomfortable.

Never tried a wood fire, I miss my dad's coal fire that used to be ultra cosy to sit by and hte whole room would be warm and the crackle and flames *sigh*

Hmm this summer I'm going to have to find some burny wood for mallow roasting of an evening.
