Dust plunny - literally. meridae April 28 2016, 02:31:32 UTC
"What *is* it?" Callum asked in bemusement as he stared at what looked like a furry jelly bean cuddled in the crook of Seth's neck.

"It is NOT an it!" Seth replied archly. "It is a kitten. OUR baby."

"You got me a pet . . "

"NOT a pet," Seth cut him off harshly. "HE is our CHILD."

"C-child . . . "

"Baby," Seth added helpfully.

"B-but how?" Callum's face had paled, his jaw had drop and he was now gaping in near-horror at his partner.

"Well you said you wanted children, but didn't want to be pregnant . . . and *I* can't get pregnant cos I'm the wizard . . . soooo . . . I made a little magic."

"A little magic," Callum repeated unintelligentally as he near swooned into a handy armchair.

"Yup," Seth was smug as he nuzzled the small black jell . . er kitten . . . er child. "Mix a little cat fur with a little house dust, some lint, and a little magic, and voila!"

"You made a baby our of my fur, dust bunnies and magic."

"Yup. Oh . . and my own personal contribution."

"I don't even want to know." Callum's voice regained some of his usual sardonic edge as he continued, his face showing rising interest in his new offspring. "Well . . . I hope you don't expect me to NURSE him!"

(So, yesterday while I was cleaning and there was fur and hair and dust everywhere, what would happen if you added a little magic into it.)

In this house? - you'd be overrun by magic kitties!
Sir Ratbag is moulting, he is of the opinion that everything looks better with a fur coat.

*coughs* Overrun by magical kitties only happens when a wizard adds his own personal contribution... many many times.

It is spring. In Fall leaves do. In Spring cat molt. You rake up leaves, don't you? So of course you need to sweep up fur... and he's not the only one molting. Ratbag would like you to know that Cookie is also doing some of the fur accumulating in the dust pan.

Cookie would like it one record that she submits to brushing in the back garden, unlike a certain small evil nemesis that chooses to roll all over people, and pull uniform jackets onto the floor to build nests of them. The same furry menace that is currently sprawled smugly over Mr Meep, meaning Meep and Cookie are not getting the cwtches they feel they should!

Dust plunny bites! *quickly writes this down for future story impelling*

I think of you every time I come upon that photo of the black cat with its black furry jellybeans. And you used it for this.
Happy Happy Joy Joy

Meri's do the bestest stories.

And then to plunny you further because he nurses the cubs (where I'm not sure) ... https://youtu.be/Ivq10T3WR_c
