So the Sasquatch Music Festival blew my mind, and I came away from the experience inspired to find a creative outlet of my own. I'm tempted to pick up drawing or an instrument.

I had a really good time hanging out with my sister and her friends, meeting new people, and being around music for 3 whole days. The trip was worth the money, sleepless nights, and the bitter cold. The view of the Gorge was spectacular; I cannot imagine a better place to listen to amazing bands play. I did not see a single bad performance, and now I have a LOT of new music to look into. I'm so excited! I didn't want to leave.

I found an amazing product while buying food for the trip - Lara Bars! They are the purest packaged food I've found, and they are delicious. They are totally worth the price because making them myself would be a pain in the ass and they wouldn't store as well. Lara Bars, I love you.

I went cliff jumping with some friends on Saturday. I have never known fear or triumph quite like I did then! I've spent most of my life in nonchalant-mode where nothing was really a big deal, whether it was happy or scary or sad. By working towards happiness I have opened myself up to feeling, which is why I think I'm getting so many migraines; I am actually feeling stress instead of ignoring it.

I've jumped from high places before and not really thought much about it, but it took all my willpower to fall just 20 feet because I couldn't block out the fear. I'm a little proud of myself, I must admit haha. I feel like that jump was indicative of all the progress I've made over the past year.

Anyway, I promised pictures from the con forever ago, so here they are finally!

This is me standing next to Evan Dahm! He is the creator of Rice Boy and Order of Tales, two absolutely fantastic comics. I have another picture where he looks less like a cyclops, but I look better in this one so it wins.

It's laser peen! I couldn't think of something for Diana Nock to draw in the back of one of the books I bought from her, so another comic artist suggested "penis". Here is the hilarious result!

Girlbot is the name of the main character from Diana's comic of the same name. I asked that a giraffe be drawn in the second book and apparently Miss Nock didn't think it was a good representation. I think it's adorable! I should have gotten a picture with Diana but didn't. Ah well, maybe she'll be back next year.

I've been to a lot of inspiring events lately, which is awesome. Perhaps something good will come out of it.
