You are officially looking at an enrolled college student this Fall! Finally!
After not attending school for almost four years, struggling to pay my remaining tuition, getting rejected by CUNY Lehman College, and still not hearing back from them about my appeal (they haven't even got to mine after two months applying) I have found elsewhere to get an education and obtain my Bachelor's. I'll be attending School of New Resources at The College of New Rochelle in Manhattan.
My mother told me about the college who just happens to be an Alumni there. She said that I should check it out because it's an adult college. Adult colleges are pretty much where people who are usually 21 and over can get their degree and still take care of their priorities. It's also an accelerated degree program where I get to take six-credit classes and also do so during the Summer. That means if I take as many credits as I possibly can year-round, then I can finish sooner than later. It wouldn't be difficult at all to get the classes I need to take and it's also a smaller campus, which works out better for me.
I did have to take out a loan but only subsidized at the moment yet still have to pay the remaining amount out-of-pocket. It's not that bad because it's only 325 dollars for the Fall semester. Here's hoping that it all works out and I like it! Oh, and that all my college credits from the last school I attended transfer.
