Smorty - blog advertising site
What a strange word - I still haven't figured out what Smorty actually means - maybe it's actually a mashup of two words?
Anyhow, this seems to be a site for bloggers to make money working with blog advertising on their blogs. You review or talk about a site or service, and put a link to it in your blog, and get paid. Sounds pretty good! At any rate, I signed up for it and will be giving it a try. There's a lot of money making opportunities out there on the internets, and you have to be careful to find out which ones are legitimate. I did some research into this one and it gets a lot of positive reviews and people actually using it and getting paid - so I'm giving it a try. Basically, you're getting paid for blogging .
So far, it seems like it will be easy to work with - it's a simple process to sign up. You fill out the information with your blog url, and they get back to you when your blog has been approved. In my case, it took less than 24 hours. Then you log in, and it lists opportunities and how much each one pays. What I like is you have the choice of which ones you want to accept - you don't have to blog about things you aren't interested in, or that don't relate to your blog (or review products that represent something you don't have an interest in) .
They also have a referral program! So if people sign up under your referral, you get 5% of what they're making. Get paid to blog - sounds like a good concept to me. If you want to sign up, let me know and I'll give you my referral code so you can sign up through me.
