Miserable Sinuses , No Ozma
Well, the sinuses are bad again today - to the point where I don't want to eat anything and my face is swelling. This pretty much means that I'm not going to be making it to the Ozma concerts, and I am HUGELY disappointed because I love Ozma so very much. And I was looking forward to seeing everyone again. If only the Ozma headlining show in Hoboken wasn't on the same night the RK concert in Philly was. Now I feel like I missed out on my chance to see them, and who knows when they're going to be on the east coast again? And the kids are very miserable as well because they wanted to go with us, and it was going to be their first big concert... so I really let everyone down thanks to my sinuses. Every time I think about it I want to cry, except with my sinuses swollen up like this, I can't.
If it gets much worse tonight, or if it isn't much better tomorrow morning, I'll take some of my non-existent money and go visit the doctor or the hospital or the urgent care place. I'd really like to feel better now.
In non-emo news, we saw a cute snake today right by the deck steps. I stepped off the deck and almost right onto him - poor little snake. He popped his head up and looked indignant as he slithered to a safe distance to watch us. In the morning when I was barely awake, I thought he was a hognose - but now that I look at it, his markings were too dark and his head wasn't pointed enough. He was likely a pine snake. Hognose, pine snakes, and garter snakes are our most common snake types here in the pine barrens.
